About Us

Angie Mosley has been an educator at Seattle Public Schools for almost two decades. Through her positive and meaningful interactions with students, she recognized a need to connect on a deeper level and created AMT Up 3D, from which Double Dutch Divas was born. Since then, the organiztion has grown to over 30 contractors who connect with the local community on a daily basis, building trust and connectedness. Angie strives to make Double Dutch Divas  place where everyone can be empowered, confident, seen and heard, and can show up as the best version of themselves. Through her ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life, she has started a Double Dutch movement that uplifts and promotes overall wellbeing. 

Sian Wu is a board member of AMT Up 3D and a volunteer coach for Double Dutch Divas. A nonprofit communications consultant and managing director at Resource Media, she supports community health organizations—especially BIPOC-led groups—through grant management, strategic messaging, and multimedia campaigns. She has worked with clients such as the Gates Foundation, Public Health Seattle & King County, and federal agencies under the Obama administration. As an instructor in multicultural marketing at the University of Washington’s CommLead program, she continues to refine inclusive communication practices. Sian views her board service as part of her solidarity practice, advancing wellness, leadership, and economic opportunity through double dutch.

Jamila's career is deeply rooted in health and wellness. With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, she successfully operates her own fitness coaching business. As a seasoned expert, she educates fellow Divas on effective Double Dutch instruction methods. Her expertise is instrumental in planning our after-school programs. As Head Coach of Double Dutch Divas, Jamila brings a strong sense of organization, accountability, and high energy to every event that the organization hosts. She manages calendars and keeps staff up to date on the latest developments and ensures that staffing levels are adequate. Jamila is not afraid to have tough conversations and does so in an empathetic and compassionate way. Her leadership is invaluable. 

 Takitreauna Shade serves as the Executive Assistant and Coach for the Double Dutch Divas, bringing both organizational and motivational energy to the team. A proud Seattle native and mother of two, she leads with compassion, discipline, and a deep belief in empowerment through movement. Her love for fitness fuels her coaching style—balancing encouragement, accountability, and high standards to help athletes thrive. Known for her upbeat spirit, she creates a positive, focused environment where teamwork and growth flourish, embodying the resilience, sisterhood, and power that define the Divas. 

NyRee is an author and writer in the self-help genre. She is an HR expert who helps businesses lay the foundation for hiring and retaining talent. In addition, NyRee has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing and uses her knowledge to help organizations grow and position themselves in a way that fosters engagement and positive transformation. She uses her knowledge and experience to help organizations streamline their marketing, deal with all things people-related, and develop a deeper understanding of what their brand is and how to tailor messaging that aligns.
